DCPO welcomes new Chief; holds first command conference
The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) welcomed its new City Director, Colonel Peter Madria who officially assumed leadership of the office beginning Monday, March 30, 2026.

Madria’s appointment signals a renewed commitment to discipline, professionalism, and public safety in Davao City.

Madria, upon his assumption convened his first Command Conference with the Command Group, Staff Officers, Station Commanders, and Support Units. The conference served as a venue to align priorities, strengthen operational readiness, and reinforce DCPO’s core values and service to the community.

During the meeting, each office and station commander presented their respective staff functions and current concerns, allowing for a comprehensive discussion of operational challenges and opportunities.

 Madria assured all personnel of his full support on the issues and concerns raised. He directed the intensification of the Anti‑Criminality Campaign, instructing all units to strengthen proactive measures against crime and ensure the continued safety and security of the Dabawenyo community.

The DCPO family expressed full support for his directives and welcomed his leadership, reaffirming their collective commitment to serve and protect the people of Davao City.
