The City Information Office (CIO), in its report said the city’s COVID- 19 Task Force Daily case bulletin on May 9 showed a zero positivity rate among 228 individuals tested for COVID-19.
In the same period, tthere were no recorded deaths and new cases.
Likewise, in the Risk Assessment Map on the Impact of the COVID-19 that was generated on May, all 182 barangays in the city are now under minimal risk - the lowest classification of the COVID-19 assessment in the city from May 10 to May 14.
Barangay Maa was the sole moderate risk barangay while A. Angliongto Sr., Talomo Proper, and Tibungco were classified as low-risk barangays from May 2 to May 7.
Despite the zero positivity rate and minimal risk classification, Dabawenyos are still reminded to observe the minimum public health measures for their protection against the virus especially the wearing of face masks and get vaccinated as well.
Dabawenyos are reminded of the Face Mask Ordinance and for those individuals who are not wearing a facemask will be fined P500 for the first offense; P2,000 for the second offense; and, P5,000 or one-month imprisonment for the third offense.
