Nagpasalamat si Atillo sa Comelec sa pagtubag sa ilang hangyo nga tas-an ang allowances nga madawat sa mga magtutudlo nga magsilbing miyembro sa electoral boards.
Kantidad sa usa ka libo ka pesos ang nadugang nga allowance sa mga personahe sa departamento nga mualagad sa nasyunal ug lokal nga eleksyon.
P7,000 ang madawat nga allowance sa chairperson sa electoral board, P6,000 alang poll clerk ug third members, samtang P3,000 para sa support staff.
Gawas niini, duna usay madawat nga travel allowance nga P2,000 ang matag usa kanila, ug P500 nga anti-COVID-19 allowance.
Kalakip sa benepisyo ang hangtod P250,000 nga medical assistance ug hangtod P500,000 nga death benefits.
Samtang, giawhag sa DepEd ang mga security forces nga hatagan niini ug seguridad ang mga magtutudlo nga muaktong miyembro sa electoral boards ilabina sa mga lugar nga dunay problema sa peace and order.
“The DepEd 11 director Allan Farnazo is urging the security group to provide protection to our members of the teaching profession who will serve as the members of the electoral board. This is specifically in areas where the peace and order situation is quite challenging,” matod pa ni Atillo.
