Drug den dismantled in Davao de Oro, 3 nabbed
Joint operatives from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Philippine National Police dismantled a drug den and arrested three suspected pushers and users in an operation at Purok 10, Poblacion, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro early Saturday (May 28).

PDEA 11 Information Officer Noli Dimaandal said the drug den was found during the entrapment in the house of Frank Gil Salimbagat alias Don-Don, 22 years old and a resident of said barangay.

Dimaandal said the operation, which was led by the PDEA’s Provincial office and backed by elements of Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office mainly targeted Salimbagat as the subject of the buy-bust operation.

During the buy-bust, the suspect sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P10,000 to an undercover agent.

An ensuing search at the suspect’s house resulted in the discovery of the drug den and the presence of two other persons.

They were identified as Aira Mae Tayangtang, alleged co-drug den maintainer and Hamisah Didato.

In PDEA’s report, 2 more sachets of suspected shabu were found at the scene, assorted drug paraphernalia, buy-bust and boodle money.

The seized shabu during the operation weighed 14 grams grams with an estimated street value of P210,000.

The three suspects who are detained at the PDEA-11 custodial facility will face multiple charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
