Ito ang kinumpirma ni attorney Vic Rodriguez, incoming executive secretary ng susunod na adminsitrasyon sa isang press statement.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Rosriguez na may napili nang susunod na magiging hepe ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) si presumptive president Bongbong Marcos.
Ayon kay Rodriguez, pangunahing mandato ni Cruz-Angeles ay pamunuan ang PCOO at magsagawa ng press briefings para sa mga mamamahayag na nagco-cover ng mga aktibidad sa Malacañang.
Kung matatandaan inihayag ni Marcos na hindi siya mag-tatalaga ng tagpagsalita.
Malaki naman ang pasasalamat ni Cruz-Angeles sa oportunidad na ibinigay ni Marcos na maging bahagi ng kanyang adminsitrasyon.
“I am grateful for the opportunity I am given to take part in the administration of President Bongbong Marcos as his Press Secretary. It is with humility that I accept the nomination and assume the responsibility of running the affairs of the PCOO,” ani Cruz-Angeles.
Si Cruz ay nagsilbi bilang social media strategist sa PCOO mula 2017 hanggang 2018.
