The rice distribution covered the following mosques:
San Isidro – Datu Anduhol Masjid
Tibungco – Datu Bansil Masjid
Sasa – Masjid Abdul
Ilang – Masjid Huda
Tigatto – Masjid Abdullah
Waan – Masjid Proper Waan
According to Rep. Duterte’s office, the lawmaker personally delivered the rice to each mosque, underscoring his commitment to directly reach out to communities and ensure that assistance reaches its intended beneficiaries.
Local mosque leaders and community members expressed gratitude for the support, noting that the rice assistance would help families, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiative is part of Rep. Duterte’s continuing efforts to provide food assistance and strengthen engagement with various sectors in the district, including faith-based communities.
His office said similar outreach activities will continue in other areas of the 2nd District as part of ongoing social and humanitarian programs.
