The top two floors of the new building will house the first National University in Mindanao. ”This marks a significant milestone for education in the region. The new multi-level expansion viewed to enhance business opportunities started construction fourth quarter last year. It also includes two levels dedicated to leisure and retail, offering prime spaces for new and existing tenants, and three levels of indoor parking, accommodating approximately 1,000 vehicles. These innovations are seen to ensure a seamless shopping experience and further drive consumer engagement.
It is the second significant expansion since SM City Davao opened in 2001 or 20 years ago. The first expansion was the Annex building which opened in 2012 and continues to house premier retail brands, restaurants, Cyberzone, and BPOs.
Also, the mall’s cinemas will undergo significant upgrades, featuring two private theaters and two Director’s Club cinemas, complete within-house butlers, food menus, and plush leather seats. These enhancements are designed to attract a diverse audience, increasing dwell time and boosting retail sales.
The third mid-rise building promises to bring new, exciting experiences and concepts, meticulously curated for the vibrant Davaoeño market. This development is poised to attract more businesses, offering unparalleled opportunities for growth and collaboration
