“Now that we are a few numbers away from achieving herd immunity, we are hopeful that this may contribute to a smoother sailing transition to a new normal,” Sara said.

Meanwhile, the Public Safety and Security Command (PSSCC) has deployed more personnel to ensure the orderly conduct of the vaccination for the remaining days of the three-day national vaccination.
The PSSCC ensures the orderly conduct of the vaccination rollout in the sites particularly compliance with the minimum public health protocols such as social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
On the other hand, the Regional police also provide vehicles to ensure the safe transport of vaccines at the vaccination sites.
Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 director Brigadier General Filmore Edcobal also directed his personnel to ensure that the minimum health standard protocol for COVID-19 especially physical distancing, must be enforced.
"PRO 11 will be maximizing its effort and personnel to assist the DOH to ensure a safe, peaceful and smooth 3-day vaccination drive,” Escobal said.
