Harvey Lanticse from the office of the vice mayor said the SP-led vaccination rollout in Barangays continues amid the relaxed COVID-19 restrictions.
“Our goal is to vaccinate all Dabawenyos for each and everyones' protection,” Lanticse said in a report from the City Information Office (CIO).
Lanticse said the mobile vaccination also administered 116,023 first doses and 86,070 for the second doses.
Currently, the SP led mobile vaccination drive served a total of 89,225 individuals.
He said that their office is still catering door-to-door vaccination.
Meanwhile, the city will be rolling out its weekend vaccination drive to cater to minors 12 to 17 years old and adults, especially those individuals and workers who cannot take a break from work on weekdays.
The city plans to start the weekend vaccination drive next weekend or after the city government finishes the setting up of the needed logistics and manpower.
COVID-19 Task Force spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser said they are currently arranging the manpower and logistics and will announce the opening of the vaccination sites for weekend jabs in the City Government of Davao Facebook Page.
She added that the vaccination site in Crocodile park is best for those who have vehicles. This area will be inspected within the week.
Schlosser continuously urged Dabawenyos to get the booster dose during the weekend vaccination drive saying there is sufficient supply of vaccines.
