The family of Juvid Tambiling received one sack of rice and grocery items.
The family also received P5,000 cash which was turned over by NORDECO’s Area Manager Demetrio Jagunos on Thursday (March 17).
The assistance was part of NORDECO’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program through “Kalinga ng NORDECO para sa Bida MCOs” (member-consumer-owners).
The program aims to extend assistance to those families affected by calamities and accidents.
The program has been made possible through the help of One EC Network Foundation (OECNF), NCECCO, and the Employees Association of NORDECO.
“May this simple act of kindness warm the hearts of those in need,” according to NORDECO.
The beneficiary family thanked the electric cooperative for the help extended to them.
