COVID-19 cases in Davao City start to drop, Dr. Michelle Scholosser, spokesperson of the Davao COVID-19 Task Force .
In an interview with Davao City Disaster Radio, Schlosser however said Dabawenyos should continue following the basic health standards like wearing of face masks, distancing, and handwashing.
Schlosser also continues to call on people to get two doses of anti-Covid vaccines and booster shots for protection against the deadly disease.
“Although we see this downtrend of cases as a good sign, we will still have to advise the public to be very vigilant in following the minimum public health standards),” Schlosser said.
Meanwhile, she said the forecast of the surge to last until March still stands saying the number of cases will depend on people’s compliance to the mandated health safety measures.(BY JUDY QUIROS)
