A man was gunned down inside a bus in Barangay Guadalupe, Carmen, Davao del Norte, Friday afternoon (Dec.10).
The victim was identified as Nonito Cabal, 65 years old, and a resident of Purok Alaska, Bonifacio Street in Barangay New Pandan, Panabo City.
Initial investigation by the police showed the victim and suspects were all aboard the Bachelor bus with body number 4545 and plate number NBL 5269.
The bus came from Tagum City heading for Davao City.
Upon approaching the Tagum task force checkpoint, one of the suspects transferred and sat beside the victim. Upon reaching the aforementioned place of the incident, the gunman suddenly shot the victim. Thereafter, the suspect immediately fled on foot going to Tagum City direction right after the incident.
