Female Indian shot dead by riding-in-tandem gunmen in DavNor
A female Indian collector, Manpreet Kaur, 40 years old while riding a motorcycle driven by a certain Hanley Velez, 33 was shot by two suspects onboard a motorcycle in a village at Carmen, Davao del Norte, past noon. Friday (Nov.12).

Police said Kaur, married, and a resident of Gavina Subdivision, Tadeco road in Panabo City was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians at Carmen District Hospital while Velezwho was hit in the shoulder  is undergoing treatment in the same hospital. 

 Police initial Investigation revealed the aforesaid victims were on their way home riding with their service motorcycle Honda, XRM, color black/white with plate number SV5276 going to Carmen proper direction when an unidentified motorcycle boarded by two unidentified men suddenly rode beside and shot them several times.

Kaur sustained fatal gunshot wounds while Velez was hit on his shoulder. 

 Police recovered three pieces of fired cartridge cases at the crime scene. Police are conducting hot pursuit operations against the suspects while investigation pursues to determine the motive of the killing. (BY RICHY NALAGON)
