Brigadier General Benjamin Silo, the regional director of Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, thanked the police personnel and other peacekeeping and security forces of Davao, including the Local Government Unit, and the community for their cooperation and participation to ensure the safety and security of the city that contributed to the successful holding of this year’s Kadayawan celebration.
PRO 11 with its allied forces had deployed a total of 11,459 security personnel throughout the city from the start of the event on August 5 until it ended August 21.
Silo also recognizes the importance of the activation of the Multi-Agency Coordinating Center that was used in real-time monitoring and assessment for the successful staging of Kadayawan.
Silo also thanked the public for their relentless support, adding their participation and cooperation plays a great effort in making sure that the celebration of Kadayawan is safe, secured and successful.
Silo earlier vowed to have a zero crime incident for the whole duration of the festivities.
