DAVAO CITY---Over the weekend in Singapore, the Davao Aguilas FC U15 squad won their age division's JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s event.

The Aguilas defeated Anza, a predominantly Australian team, 1-0 in extra time to complete a successful title defense in the B15 division, highlighted by an unbeaten record and a clean sheet.

In the cup battle, DAFC and Anza battled to a scoreless tie after regulation, with the Filipinos keeping hard against their opponents' waves of attacks while making their counters.

Coach Aber Ruzgar then chose Andres Dumlao, John Mark Visitation, and Karl Molina to carry the fight in the 3v3 extension time.

After receiving a pass from Visitation, Molina scored the game-winning goal for the Aguilas.

The Aguilas won the championship after defeating ten other teams.

They previously led Group A with eight points after a 2-2-0 win-draw-loss record with two goals for and zero against.(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
