After a silver performance in the 2022 International Netball Event in Jeonju, Korea, from August 2 to 5, the team took the championship in the plate category in the Asian Netball Championships 2022 from September 3 to 11 at OCBC Arena in Singapore.
Withi its strong performance, the team landed fifth place among the 11 nations that participated in the international netball tournament. This also made the team gain a slot in the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Bangkok-Chonburi, Thailand on November 2023.
Netball is a ball game played by two opposing seven-member teams on a rectangular court with boardless goal rings at each end.
The teams aim to outscore their opponents without advancing the ball through dribbling.
