Davao Occidental Dreamers team goes 2-1 in PSL 21U basketball tourney
DAVAO CITY---The young basketballers Davao Occidental Dreamers from Davao Occidental improved to 2-1 in the ongoing Pilipinas Super League (PSL) Under-21 invitational league.

On July 22, the Dreamers beat Lapu Lapu Pantum of Lapu Lapu City 122-62.

Dreamers' big man Jude Bagay scored 15 points to lead his team to victory.

The win is the second straight for the team since they lost to PSL 21U Invitational Cup champions, the Consolacion Sarok Weavers, 76-72 at the Toledo City Sports Center Megadome in Cebu last July 7.

The visiting Dreamers, coached by former Ateneo de Davao basketball coach Jess Evangelio, fought hard in the game. Still, in the end, the defending champion proved itself to the better team.

The team started well in the game, taking a 41-34 lead in the first half.

However, the defending champion rallied in the end to take the win.
