Tagum City hail Hanoi SEA Games silver performance of lady wrestler
DAVAO CITY---The local government of Tagum City lauded the silver performance in wrestling of a lady resident in the ongoing Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

On its official Facebook page, the city government praised the second-place finish of Jeah Pingot in the Women's Freestyle 50 kilogram event.

"#TagumTagumpay congratulations to Tagumenyo athlete JIAN PINGOT for bagging Silver Medal in the Women’s Freestyle 50kg class Wrestling competition at the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. The whole City of Tagum is very proud of you," the Facebook post said.

In the 2019 SEA Games hosted by the Philippines, Pingot also won a silver medal.

With her silver performance, Pingot is expected to receive another financial reward from the provincial government of Davao del Norte.

For her silver performance in 2019, Pingot got P30,000 from Davao del Norte governor Edwin Jubahib.(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
