Ramirez made the call during the PSC flag-raising ceremony last February 28.
“We should not stop striving to be the best in our life. Dapat mangarap pa rin tayo at patuloy na magpursige na maimprove ang buhay.” Ramirez said.
Earlier, despite failing to get a medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games, Ramirez is still happy and proud of the performance shown by our six para-athletes in the biggest sporting for differently-abled persons.
Ramirez said despite the global pandemic these athletes still gave their best for the sake of the country.
“They were exceptional and dedicated Paralympians caught in a pandemic. Despite this, they carried the flag with pride and honor,” Ramirez said.
“They were playing against the best Paralympians in the world. To qualify and participate in the Paralympics is a great honor in itself,” Ramirez added.
Ramirez also revealed that in the face of the pandemic, the PSC managed to respond to the concerns of the athletes. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
