Davao City gets 2nd place in National PRISAA secondary football

DAVAO CITY---Davao City, mainly comprised of students from Mapua Malayan Colleges of Mindanao, finished second in secondary football in the recent National PRISAA games in Zamboanga City on July 13-18.

The team finished second in the tournament participated by some of the top schools in the country after they fell to Region VII 1-0 in the finals on July 17.

The team finished the elimination round with a 2-1 win-loss record.

The team fell to the host Zamboanga City in the first game 2-1.

However, the team bounced back in the next two games by beating Region 10 2-0 and Region 9 1-0.

The team is composed of Miguel Luis, Cerin, Luis Antonio, Aquino, River, Concha, Gian Carlos, Lacerna, Rhianne Axelle, Mendoza, Vianney Ross II, Lagundi,Josh Clarence, Agulo

Karl Francis, Sumampong, Kyle Adriel, Sy, Simon, Guerrero, Adrian, Elarmo, Cian Martin, Nogadas, Rj, Chua, Klint John, Palabino, Charles, Colandog, Sean Irving, Borla and Ezekiel, Romero.
