Alyssa Valdez returns after injury
DAVAO CITY---Alyssa Valdez, the primary attacker for Creamline is anticipated to come back on February 4 when the Premier Volleyball League season debuts.

The former Ateneo de Manila University standout is showing promising signs as the competition approaches, according to league commissioner Tonyboy Liao.

Since suffering a knee injury against Chery Tiggo in the PVL Reinforced Conference bronze medal match on December 6th, Valdez has not participated in any matches.

Despite the incident, the team claimed in a statement that Valdez needed rest and rehabilitation to recover from her wound.

The Cool Smashers, who have an almost entirely intact lineup, are one of the contenders, with Valdez returning as the leader.

Along with two-time Most Valuable Player Tots Carlos, Invitational Finals MVP Ced Domingo, Reinforced Conference Best Setter Jia de Guzman, Michelle Gumabao, Jema Galanza, Risa Sato, and Jeanette Panaga, Creamline will be under Meneses' direction.(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
