10th Infantry Division (Agila) wins second place in AFP-PNP invitational Basketball Cup
DAVAO CITY—The 10th Infantry Division (Agila) placed second in the AFP-PNP Invitational Basketball Cup 2024 for the second year in a row.
In their best-of-three championship series versus the Burea of Fire Protection 11 at the Davao City Recreation Center, the Agilas from their Philippine Army camp in Mawab, Davao de Oro were soundly defeated.

Major Mark Anthony Tito shared his happiness with their runner-up position on Facebook and promised that they will work even harder in the coming years to win the championship.

In addition to the runner-up trophy, the team that placed second also received P100,000 in cash.

And the Agilas took home major individual accolades as well.

Sgt. Rusty Borromeo was the conference's most valuable player and mythical player. In addition to Sgt. Borromeo, the conference's legendary player was Sgt. Eduardo Mahilum and Private First Class Junnel Perdido.

Army Major Mark Anthony Tito was also chosen as one of the five Mythical Players in the officer's category for 10ID, while Coach Raphael Claveria was voted Coach of the Conference.
