DRUG DEN DESTROYS IN DAVAO DE ORO; MAINTAINER NABBED AFTER MANHUNT
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11 (PDEA RO11) alongside National Bureau Investigation and police dismantled an alleged drug den during a buy-bust operation conducted in Purok 6, Barangay Bongabong, Pantukan, Davao de Oro, on July 24, 2026, at around 5:50 P.M.

The target of the operation and alleged drug den maintainer, identified only as alias "Paeng," initially evaded arrest after sensing the presence of the operating team.

Arrested during the operation were alias Paeng’s alleged drug den employee, identified as alias "Botyok," and two alleged drug den visitors, alias "Jared" and alias "Pongpong."

Seized during the operation were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with an approximate total weight of 85 grams and an estimated standard drug price of ₱578,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.

Following the buy-bust operation, the operating team launched a hot pursuit operation at around 12:25 A.M. on July 25, 2026, at Angel Beach Resort, Barangay Tibagon, Pantukan, Davao de Oro, which resulted in the arrest of alias "Paeng” together with his live-in partner, identified as alias "Rovelyn”.

Recovered during the hot pursuit operation were five more heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with an approximate total weight 270 grams and an estimated standard drug price of ₱1,836, a caliber .45 pistol with live ammunition, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as amended, and violation of Republic Act 10591 will be filed in court against the arrested individuals.
