The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) joined the nation in commemorating the 95th National Heroes Day on Monday, August 31, at Osmeña Park in Davao City.
City Director Police Colonel Peter Bauzon Madria, together with DCPO personnel, took part in the solemn ceremony held at the corner of C.M. Recto Avenue and San Pedro Street, paying tribute to Filipinos who made significant sacrifices in the pursuit of freedom, peace, and national unity.
Madria underscored the importance of keeping the legacy of the country’s heroes alive, noting that their courage and dedication continue to inspire present and future generations to serve the nation with patriotism and commitment.
The event also highlighted the shared dedication of the DCPO, government agencies, and partner organizations in maintaining peace and security in Davao City, in keeping with the ideals upheld by the nation’s heroes.
