The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) announced, in a social media post on Tuesday, the start of the application process for the Mutya ng Dabaw 2026.
To join, interested applicants must submit an online application through the QR code or the link provided at the Mutya ng Dabaw Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DuAAS2SE3/ .
Applicants must submit a duly filled-out application form, photos in PDF format (one 2x2 ID photo and one 3R whole-body photo), proof of residency (barangay certificate showing at least one year of residency), and a PSA Birth Certificate.
The deadline for the online submission is on February 2 at 11:59 pm.
To qualify, applicants must be born female, at least 18 years old, living in Davao City for at least a year before the callback date, and must be a high school graduate or have finished Grade 10.
They must also have good social and communication skills, good mental health condition and physically fit. They must also be knowledgeable and well-versed in current issues, cultures, and traditions of the city.
A strong advocacy in supporting a cause in life, focusing on womenβs welfare and social responsibility is also needed to qualify.
All applicants are required to attend the screening with a bare face on February 4. Failure to arrive at the scheduled time will result in the forfeiture of the application.
Following the screening, the screening committee will choose the Top 50 who will proceed to the callback. Successful candidates will be notified via SMS.
