Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, βNever will I leave you; never will I forsake you.β
Work hard, but not just to please your masters when they are watching. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them.
βAsk and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knockand the door will be opened to you.β
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
βAnd God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.β
βTherefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.β

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.β
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.β
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in G...
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
