One of the Names of Jesus is Emmanuel which means "God with us."
He became one with us, became a man, died on Calvary, taking our punishment, our guilt, and our blame, so that His life might be ours. .When He rose again He said, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20) . What a comforting thought!
Isn’t it great to know that God is with us? He is closer than the air we breathe. His peace is always with us. His joy is always with us. His power is always with us, and His victory is always with us. The next time you feel alone, remember, you are never alone because you serve Emmanuel the God who is always with us!*Amen.
