Bible Verse of the Day

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,  and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,   Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.

“After explaining that Mary was with child by the Holy Spirit, the angel told Joseph, And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins”

I am certain that God, Who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished.

What does the Lord require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.

I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you!

He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.

Jesus said, ‘truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.
