DAVAO CITY-The Office of Vice President (OVP) Sara Duterte will launch in this city a program tomorrow (Sept. 26) to help children suffering from malnutrition, and poor development.
The “Kalusugan Food Truck” will focus in areas affected by natural calamities (typhoons, floods, landslides, earthquakes) and human-induced calamities (fire, armed conflict, terror attacks), among others.
The OVP Kalusugan Food Trucks will be deployed in schools and institutions to provide children with a specially designed menu to address their condition.
The program will run for 120 days.
The OVP Kalusugan Food Trucks is in partnership with the Department of Education and the National Nutrition Council of the Department of Health.
