A 34-year old high-value target drug personality was arrested after he was found in possession of about P4. 2 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation at around 10:54 A.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Purok 6A, Barangay Canocotan, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
In a report Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11 said the suspect, identified only as “Mata, is caught selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu approximately weighing 2.5 grams worth P17,500 to an undercover agent posing as a buyer.
Authorities also seized an aluminum pack containing suspected shabu and three heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of 612.5 grams, valued at around P 4,287,500, along with the marked buy-bust money.
The suspect will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
