The house construction and renovation of said housing units was under the Comprehensive Social Benefit Program (CSBP) that has been institutionalized through Executive Order (EO) Number 110 of President Rodrigo Duterte.
The beneficiaries were the family of PO1 Joey Narvaza and PO1 Rolly Benelayo.
The two policemen were killed in an ambush in Bansalan, Davao del Sur in March 2017.
Also benefited were the family of SPO3 Orlando Badar who was mercilessly killed by the members of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP-NPA) in August 2017.
PRO 11 director Brigadier General Filmore Escobal thanked the administration of President Duterte for always giving attention to the PNP organization.
“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa ating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte dahil sa programang gaya nitong CSBP na hindi pinabayaan ang mga naulilang pamilya ng ating kasamahan na namatay sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga tungkulin,” Escobal said.
He said EO 110 uplifted the bereaved families of those men in uniform who risked their lives in the name of service. (By Ruth Palo)
