A drug den was dismantled and three persons were arrested in an anti-drug joint operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) at Purok 1, Upper Matti, Barangay Matti, Digos City, Davao Del Sur on Monday evening (June 27).
In a report, Noli Dimaandal, information officer of PDEA 11 identified the arrested suspects as Mark Vicera alias Agaw, 37 years old, truck driver, and a resident of said barangay and the latter’s older brother Benjie Vicera.
Also arrested in the operation was Bradly Luis Amir, the nephew of Vicera siblings.
Confiscated during the operation were a total of 17 grams of suspected shabu worth about P255,000, assorted paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
Appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 13, and 14,of Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) were filed against the suspects.
