Davao City reverts to ‘Moderate Risk' status for COVID
Davao City has returned to Moderate Risk Local Government Unit (LGU) for COVID-19 from the previous high risk and critical risk daily growth and attack rates in the past days.

As of February 5, the city recorded a -34.7 2 week growth rate classification which is "low", and a 24.16 or "high" Average Daily Attack Rate for COVID.

The City Information Office (CIO) in its report Monday afternoon (Feb. 7) said the number of critical risk barangays also decreased from 105 for the period January 31- February 5.

CIO also reported that there are still five barangays remaining at critical risk from February 7 to February 12.

These barangays are Baguio Proper, Biao Guianga, Carmen, Tawan-tawan, and Waan. All barangays are located in District 3.

It is also indicated in the report that there are still 29 listed High-Risk Barangays, six High-Risk Barangays in close proximity to moderate risk barangays and 95 moderate risk barangays.

COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser had earlier reminded Dabawenyos to remain vigilant and leave no room for complacency by following the minimum public health measures.

She also encouraged residents here to get vaccinated or avail the booster dose of the anti-COVID vaccines as soon as possible, adding that the possible rise in the number of cases cannot be predicted and may happen anytime.
