10 foreign nationals nabbed for immigration violations in Siargao Island
Authorities arrested up to 10 foreign nationals for allegedly violating immigration laws in various locations across Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, on June 26, 2026.

The operation were carried by thejoint intelligence-driven law enforcement operation by Joint Task Force (JTF) Sinaya, alongside JTF Diamond and the Bureau of Immigration Regional Intelligence Operations Unit (BI RIOU), military and law enforcement agencies.

The arrested foreigners include: Four Israeli; two Chinese; a Moroccan; Lithuanian; Australian; and a Nigerian national.

Following their apprehension, the foreign nationals were placed under the custody of the General Luna Municipal Police Station for documentation and processing. They are scheduled for transport to Manila, where they will be brought to the Bureau of Immigration Warden Facility (BI-WF) in Taguig City pending the appropriate legal and immigration proceedings.

The successful conduct of the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of inter-agency cooperation in enforcing Philippine laws, strengthening border and immigration security, and preserving public order. 

The Philippine Navy, through Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao and JTF Sinaya, remains steadfast in supporting intelligence and law enforcement initiatives that contribute to national security and ensure the safety and security of communities within its area of responsibility.
