Malayan Mapua Colleges of Mindanao rules PRISAA secondary football
Davao City—The Malayan Mapua Colleges of Mindanao ruled the recent Secondary Football Tournament of the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) at the Rizal Memorial Colleges football field.

The Mapuans footballers mostly made up of players from Southshield Football Club, went undefeated in the tournament.

The team first beat Lysium of the Philippines University 10-0.

The team followed it up with a 4-1 win over Emars.

In their third game, the team eked out a 1-1 draw against the host RMC Bulldogs.

In their final game, the team blanked Agro-Industrial Foundation College 2-0. 

The champion team coached by Gelo Ea is composed of Miguel Cerin, Kelso Aquino, Cian Nogadas, Vianney Lagundi, Gian Lacerna, Rhianne Mendoza, Kyle Sy, Karl Sumampong, John de Los Cientos, Hendrich Denila, Adrian Elarmo, EJ Cabiles, Isaiah Callora, Josh Agulo, River Concha, Cesar Ryan Caga, Simone Guerrero, and Ken Azares.

With the championship, the team will represent PRISAA in the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) meet. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
