DAVAO CITY –The Municipal Government of Santo Tomas, is set to acquire three brand new Patient Transport Vehicles (PTV) as part of the continuing efforts to beef up healthcare facilities and equipment in the town under the Mayor Ernesto Evangelista administration.

Municipal Administrator lawyer Elisa Evangelista-Lapiña in a statement on Tuesday (December 14) said that the local government will release funds intended for the purchase of the three PTVs.

Evangelista-Lapiña said these PTVs will be dispatched to Barangays Balagunan, Salvacion and New Katipunan.

“Nahuman na nato ang pag-process sa Purchase Request and karon gina bidding na kini ( We are already done with the purchase request and now we are now on bidding process)," she said.

She said they are just waiting the whole process to be done before purchasing the three PTV for the three barangays.

Evangelista-Lapiña said with this project, they are able to return people's money through strengthening its services.

She also said that the purchasing of a brand new PTV will be done through a counter-parting scheme with the concerned barangays.
