St. John Paul II Saints athletes get PRISAA national finals slot
DAVAO CITY—Two student-athletes from St. John Paul 11 College Saints, a school along Ecoland in this city, got the coveted slots to compete in the national finals of the PRISAA Games, to be held in Asia's Latin City of Zamboanga on July 23–27.

Angel Santillan and Eralyn Villorejo got the coveted slots after winning the gold medals in their respective events during the Mindanao finals of the tournament.

Santillan won the gold in women's badminton, representing Region 11.

Villarejo, for her part, won the gold in chess for women while also representing Region 11.

Getting the chance to represent the Davao region in the national finals, both Santillan and Villarejo vowed to do their best in the competition to bring honor to the city and their school. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
