Vice President Sara Duterte will pursue all available legal remedies after the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office dismissed her first perjury complaint against Ramil Madriaga.
In a statement Friday morning, September 11, Duterte’s legal counsel and spokesperson Atty. Salvador Paolo Panelo Jr. questioned the dismissal, saying the complaint was supported by more than 300 pages of sworn testimony, corroborating witnesses, official documents, and other records. Panelo said Duterte’s camp will also continue pursuing the second perjury complaint against Madriaga, which contains additional testimonies and supporting documents.
The Vice President’s camp maintained that it will not be deterred by the ruling and will continue to challenge the dismissal through available legal remedies.
