PDEA  shuts down alleged drug den on Digos City; nabs 4 suspects
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and policemen dismantled an alleged drug den, arresting four suspects during an operation on Wednesday afternoon, July 8, 2026 in Purok 4, Barangay Aplaya, Digos City, Davao del Sur.

PDEA 11 reported that the arrested was the alleged drug den maintainer, identified only as "alias Brad," 49 years old, after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth ₱8,000 to a PDEA operative acting as a poseur-buyer.

Also arrested were his live-in partner, identified only as "alias Erlinda," an alleged employee of the drug den, and two alleged drug den visitors identified as "alias Jefrey" and "alias Julius."

Operatives seized five sachets of suspected shabu in varying sizes, with an estimated total weight of approximately 17 grams and an estimated value of ₱115,600. Also recovered during the operation were assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.

The arrested individuals will face appropriate charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
