Authorities identified the suspect as Jerry Bation, 39, married, and a resident of the place.
Bation, who was arrested by the joint operatives led by Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA) Davao de Oro and members of the Philippine National Police at around 7:30 p.m is listed as the 10th Regional Target Drug Personality.
He was arrested in possession of a total of 3 grams of suspected shabu worth about P26,000 and buy-bust marked money.
A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Bation.
If Bation is found guilty. ,the maximum penalty shall be imposed, in addition to absolute perpetual disqualification from any public office as stated in Article II, Section 28 (Criminal Liability of Government Officials and Employees) of R.A. 9165.
