This was reported by JTF Agila during its Campaign Progress Review and Assessment (CPRA) at Datu Balunto Hall, Camp General Manuel T Yan Senior in Mawab, Davao De Oro on Wednesday (Oct. 5).
The units, according to the report from Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division were dismantled from July to September 2022.
These are Sub-Regional Committee (SRC) 1, SRC 2, SRC 4, SRC 5, Guerilla Front 18, and the Regional Sentro De Grabidad (RSDG) of the Regional Operations Command (ROC), all under the Southern Mindanao Regional Committee (SMRC).
In the same period, the JTF Agila also recorded seven encounters that resulted in the neutralization of 59 Communist NPA terrorists. Seven of which were killed, two captured, and 50 surrendered.
A total of 47 firearms composed of 44 high-powered and three low-powered firearms were also recovered and captured by the government forces.
JTF Agila commander Major General Nolasco A Mempin congratulates all the members of the Task Force for the victories it has achieved in its area of responsibility and subsequently delivered his command guidance.
"Always remember that everything we have done is for the safety of the people and the betterment of the communities within our area of responsibility,” Mempin said in a statement.
He also encouraged the public to continue contributing to attain goals with utmost zeal and commitment.
Mempin also urged his personnel to maintain its professionalism and dedication to duty as they continue to be loved by the people.
The activity was attended by the brigade, battalion, and post unit commanders, including other units under the task force.
