Each beneficiary got Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development worth P3,000 and scholarship grants from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
Also, a 62-footer bangka from Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program was also given to a community in the town.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) made their profiling and assessment for its Pangkabuhayan para sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) and certificates of awards from the Department of Agriculture.
Go was supposed to lead the distribution of assistance but it was not pushed through due to bad weather.
Instead, his office distributed hygiene kits with cash assistance, bicycles, tablets and pairs of shoes. (Armando Fenequito)
