BOC- Davao collected P3.80 billion, or 14.35 percent higher from its assigned target of P3.32 billion, posting a surplus of 476.66 million pesos.
The agency said the collection is also higher by 0.09 percent compared to the 2021 June collection performance of 3.46 billion pesos.

Meanwhile, BOC records its highest monthly collection in history for the month of June 2022, with P76.290 billion collection, surpassing its target of P56.287 billoon by P20.003 billion or +35.5 percent based on the preliminary report from the BOC Financial Service.
It said the BOC broke its previous highest monthly collection record of P70.778-B for March 2022.
The revenue collection for June also includes additional revenues from the Tax Expenditure Fund (TEF) collection of P301 million and Post Clearance Audit Group (PCAG) collection of P115.97 million. These collection efforts also mark the 6th consecutive month of BOC in exceeding its monthly target and achieving positive collection this year.
Based on preliminary report, 14 of the 17 Collection Districts were able to surpass its corresponding collection targets namely: San Fernando, POM, MICP, Batangas, Legaspi, Iloilo, Cebu, Surigao, Zamboanga, Davao, Subic. Clark, Aparri, and Limay.
Moreover, the BOC surpassed its midyear target collection of P327.812 billion by P68.992 billion or +21.05% with an actual collection of P396.804B since January 2022.
It said BOC’s cumulative or midyear collection this year is also higher by +31.5 percent or P95.058 billion than the P301.746 billion midyear collection in 2021.
The collection performance of the BOC and its 17 Collection Districts, under the leadership of Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero, is attributed to the improved valuation of the bureau, its digitized and modernized systems, the improving economy resulting to higher volume of importations, and the intensified collection efforts of all the Collection Districts.
