The ten new low-floor city buses, dubbed as DC Bus, procured by the City Government of Davao arrived in Davao City on October 14.

Some of the features of these 12-meter-long buses are access ramps for PWDs, bicycle rack, CCTV cameras and automated passenger counter.

Set to operate by mid-November, the DC bus will serve as an interim solution to the city’s transportation problems, initially offering free rides for Dabawenyos during peak hours.

Bus routes will be announced in the coming days, subject to the approval of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and other regulatory offices. (CIO)
