DAVAO CITY – Vice Presidential frontrunner Mayor Sara Duterte asked the Filipino people to accept whoever won the 2022 National and Local Elections.
In an interview, Duterte said this is now the time for unity after majority of the people decided who will lead the country.
"Basta, paniguraduhin natin na tama ang pagbilang ng atin boto," she said.
She said she will also do her part if ever she will be proclaimed as winner for the second highest executive position in the country.
Duterte said she will give her full cooperation whoever will win the presidency even if it is not her running mate.
However, the outgoing mayor clarified that she will remain a loyal vice president to her tandem former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Duterte said even if not be given a cabinet post, she had already prepared her peace-building program for the young people that will be campaigned in the schools.
