SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, 2 Others NABBED IN MATI CITY DRUG BUST
Anti-drug operatives led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency destroyed an alleged drug den and arrested three drug suspects, including a public-school principal, in a buy-bust operation in Purok Marilag, Limatok Street, Barangay Central on March 2, 2026, at around 4:45 P.M.
PDEA 11 Information Officer Noli Dimaandal said that the alleged drug den maintainer, identified as alias “Nene,” 44 years old, was arrested after he sells one sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000 to a PDEA poseur-buyer.
Also arrested are drug den visitors alias John and alias Jay, Jay was later identified as a school principal.
Operatives seize two sachets of suspected shabu in varying sizes with an estimated total weight of approximately five grams, valued at around P50,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.
The arrested individuals are set to face appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as amended.
