Nearly P1-M shabu seized in 2 anti-drug ops
Joint operatives of the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized almost P1 million worth of suspected shabu during their two-day operations in Davao Region since Thursday (September 8).

In Mati City, Davao Oriental, authorities arrested Alberto Camilo and Abdul Rauf Enataran.

The suspects were arrested by combined police operatives  and PDEA agents after they sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer at Purok Centro Taganilao, Barangay Tamisan, Mati City, Davao Oriental at around 6:10 Thursday evening (Sept. 8).

Also confiscated were 50 grams of shabu with a street value of P750,000.

Meanwhile, three individuals were also arrested in a buy-bust operation at Phase 2, Block 20, Lot 11, Elenita Heights Subdivision, Barangay Catalunan Grande, Davao City Friday morning (September 9).

Arrested in the operation was TSyed Omar Sayre , 26 years old, Real Estate Broker, and a resident of said barangay.

The operating teams were also able to destroy a drug den which allegedly owned by Sayre.

Also arrested were the drug den visitors Gil Brian Ginez and Daniel Dela Cruz.

Confiscated from them were a total of 13 grams of shabu valued at P186,000; two plastic sachets of suspected dried marijuana worth P2,400; assorted drug paraphernalia; and buy-bust marked money.

All the suspects are to be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
