KIDAPAWAN CITY- Cotabato Governor Emmylou ‘Lala” Taliño-Mendoza leads the opening of Kalivungan Tiangge 2023 on Friday (Aug.25) at The Basket, Amas this city in time for the weeklong Kalivungan Festival in celebration of the 109th Founding Anniversary of Cotabato province.
Kalivungan Tiangge with the theme "Yaman ng Cotabato" showcases agricultural products from various municipalities of the province. The event also includes a Tourism Expo, Travel Fair, and exhibits from various cooperatives.
The Drum and Lyre Corps competition of delegates from the municipalities of Carmen, Libungan, Makilala, Pigcawayan, Midsayap, and Tulunan clad in their colorful costumes added life to the opening of the festivity.
Provincial officials, numerous organizations from the private sector, and thousands of Cotabateños joined the feast's opening.
