J&T finance officer in snatch-me scheme nabbed
DAVAO CITY- Talomo police station arrested the finance officer of J&T Express and her lesbian partner for orchestrating the planned snatching of said courier service provider involving more than P500,000 stolen money.

The Talomo Police station reported that the alleged snatching incident took place on Monday night (Nov. 11) when the finance officer of J&T, alias Ana, personally reported to the authorities that she was a victim of a snatching incident.

She claimed that the suspects riding a motorcycle had stolen P515,379.86 from her while she was on her way to Palawan Pawnshop at Matina Aplaya, this city to deposit the said money.

Talomo intelligence operatives and an investigation team led by their station commander Major Genesis Oriel immediately conducted surveillance and gathered evidence.

Through the statements of witnesses, a review of surveillance footage, and a thorough investigation, it was determined that alias Ana was actually involved in fabricating the planned snatching.

The alleged victim told the investigators that the incident had allegedly been staged by her lesbian partner, Alias “Lisa” , a former J & T employee and her partner’s younger brother, Alias “Ken”, to mislead authorities and conceal their involvement.

Investigation revealed the suspects had planned the incident in advance because Lisa allegedly needed the money to fund her plans to go abroad and to join the Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

The stolen cash was recovered from the residence of the suspects at Tongzon Village, Bago Aplaya, Davao City amounting to P445, 928.
Suspects are now in custody, and charges of Qualified Theft have been prepared for filing.

Talomo Police said the investigation remains active as they work to identify any further details or potential accomplices.

“This case highlights the effectiveness of our investigative processes and the importance of vigilance in protecting public safety,” Talomo police said in a report.

Police Station 3 - Talomo has increased patrols in key areas to prevent and deter criminal activity and assured to remain committed to uphold the safety and peace of the community.
