Former President Duterte points Tamayong as current location of Quiboloy
DAVAO CITY- Former President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed fugitive Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is hanging around the 50-hectareTamayong Prayer Mountain, one of the latter's properties in this city.

Speaking to the members of the Davao media on Thursday night at a downtown hotel, Duterte also advised his friend Quiboloy to better remain in hiding insinuating that he cannot get fair treatment under the current administration.

“As a lawyer, I would say you can go to court fix your bail, have a bail bond but if you cannot get a fair deal with this administration, I’m talking about Marcos d wag kang lumabas diyan sa Tamayong nandiyan lang siya sa Tamayong (so do not go out there in Tamayong he is just there in Tamayong), Duterte said.

Saying he wants to educate all the media present, he said the pastor owns many houses inside the vast Tamayong Prayer Mountain, hence one warrant of (WOA)  or search warrant cannot be executed in all these houses. The court has to issue a WOA and Search Warrant for each of the houses, he claimed.

”Let me educate all of you ang Tamayong malaki yan sa loob maraming bahay  make sure na sa isang bahay nandiyan siya because for every bahay it should be a different search (inside Tamayong are many houses make sure in one house, Quiboloy is there because in every house it should be a different search,” Duterte said.

Cracking a joke, Duterte said with the number of houses in Tamayong, authorities will surely be exhausted in scouring the place to find the pastor and maybe end up becoming a member of his Kingdom instead.

“In looking after Quiboloy in so many houses there, magikotikot maghabulan kayo by the time natapos na sila napagod ka na, you will become a member of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, (you will chase each other bythe time you are finished and get tired),” Duterte quipped.

On suspicions that he is coddling Quiboloy in his house, Duterte posed a challenge instead that he would raise the money placed for those who could give information on Quiboloy’s whereabouts from the presentP100,000 to P300,000 or even as high as P500,000.

Indirectly denying the speculation, Duterte said,“sa bahay ko, Pastor ikaw naman ang wanted wag mo akong damayin dito, I am a good prosecutor tapos (in my house, pastor you are the one who is wanted here do not drag me here),” he said.

Duterte also confirmed published reports that Quiboloy designated him to act as administrator to all of his properties while he is not around.

“Somebody has to oversee the Kingdom and all his properties,” he said, adding that he has sleeping quarters inside Quiboloy’s Kingdom.

Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) church is located next to Francisco Bangoy International Airport along Carlos P. Garcia National Highway in Buhangin.

On Wednesday (April 10) Police Regional Office(PRO) Region 11 Director Alden B. Delvo at the AFP PNP Press Corps press conference said authorities have already gone to Tamayong and all of his other properties in Samal Island and at the KJC  to serve the WOA to Quiboloy, but was not found.

He confirmed that as police director he has already ordered his men to exert all efforts to find Quiboloy.

Delvo however, said he is still awaiting accurate, real, and actionable intelligence information from the police intelligence community that will lead to the arrest of Quiboloy.

“kailangan ko yung real timely relevant information so that as the regional director I can give proper directive to my men, (I need real, timely, and relevant information so that as the regional director I can give proper directive to my men),” Delvo said.

He earlier said the 50-hectare Tamayong Prayer Mountain located at the foothills of Mt. Apo in Calinan District is prohibited from outsiders. The place he said serves as the prayer center of the KJC.

It was learned that despite a tracking equipment used by the authorities particularly the National Bureau of Investigation,  Quiboloy cannot be located as he has not been using any gadget like cellular phone or laptop.

Delvo said he was an acquaintance of Quiboloy during peacetime, but such will not hinder him from doing his job of arresting him.

“Being policeman and regional director,  I am just professional I am just doing my job I have his warrant, we have no grudges from each other, and maybe he has something to answer in the courts of law, Iam just doing my job so with that I will exert effort in finding him and put him or bring him to the court,” Delvo said.

Quiboloy went into hiding after a regional trial court (RTC) in Davao City issued a WOA against him and five others for sexual abuse and child abuse cases.

Police Regional Office 11 Public Information Office Chief Major Catherine Dela Rey had confirmed three of the accused recently surrendered. They were Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada and Sylvia Camanes.
